Tuition fees
Our Tuition Fee includes the following:
- All expenses associated with the implementation of the curriculum.
- Morning snacks and lunch. Milk is provided during the afternoon snack, but we encourage parents to pack a healthy snack that their child enjoys.
- Student accident insurance providing coverage of up to 10,000 Baht per incident (restricted to accidents occurring on campus or during school-related activities). Parents are responsible for arranging broader accident insurance.
- Educational field trips (only applicable to students paying the full tuition fee).

APPLICATION FEE: ฿2,000 paid once at time of application, non-refundable.
ENTRANCE FEE: ฿50,000 paid once upon acceptance of the school offer and before the child enters the school, non-refundable.
DEPOSIT: ฿40,000 baht paid once before the child enters the school. The deposit is refundable to parents within 30 days after the last day of term. If less than one term’s notice is given, the deposit will not be refunded.

Sibling Tuition Fee Discount: the second child in school will receive a 10% discount on the Tuition Fee, the third and subsequent child in school will receive a 15% discount on the Tuition Fee.
Sibling Entrance and Deposit Fee Discounts: the second and subsequent child entering the school will receive a 50% discounts on the Entrance and the Deposit Fee.
Parents have the option to pay tuition and fees by term or annually. A discount of 8% is given for tuition fees paid annually.

Application process
Prospective students who wish to apply to Finnway International School Phuket will need to complete an application form and pay an application fee. Your child’s application will then be considered against the admissions criteria and you will be notified if they are to be offered a place. Applications are considered in chronological order of receipt.
Step 1
To apply, please submit the following:
- Completed and signed Application Form.
- An application fee of 2,000 Baht.
- Photocopy of both parent’s and child’s passports and visas.
- Photocopies of the child’s birth certificate.
- 2 passport-size photographs (not older than 6 months).
- Official transcript or report cards from the previous school (translated into English).
- Educational assessment or specialist reports (where applicable).
Step 2
After these documents have been submitted and the application fee has been received, the admissions office will review your application. Additional information may be requested from you or your child’s previous school. Following this, we will contact your family to schedule age-specific assessments. You will then be informed if your child meets the admission criteria.
Please note:
- Early years students are assessed by completing informal and practical activities in the classroom.
- Primary students will undergo an informal assessment with our Head of Primary to confirm appropriate grade placement and language proficiency.
- Parents will be interviewed by the Principal of the School about the philosophy and values of the child’s family and any other information concerning the child.
- Although our school welcomes students of all nationalities, the primary language of instruction is English, and proficiency in English is essential for full participation in our curriculum.
English as an Additional Language (EAL):
Students in Grades 1 to 6 who require EAL support will receive assistance through small group sessions and one-on-one interventions. This service is charged at 42,000 Baht per year, with invoices issued twice per year, in Term 1 and Term 2.
Intensive English Programme (IEP):
For potential students who do not yet meet the English requirements for regular classes at Finnway, our IEP at Finnway Connect provides personalised support, available for both short-term and long-term enrolment with an additional cost of 65,000 Baht per year.
Step 3
When a place is offered, the entrance fee and deposit must be paid within seven (7) days. If the entrance fee and deposit are not received within 7 days, priority will be given to other applicants. The first instalment of tuition fees is due on the 1st of June for August entry, and prior to the student’s commencement at other times during the school year.

Parents have the option to pay tuition and fees by term or annually. A discount of 8% is given for tuition fees paid annually. Please note that students already receiving siblings discount are not eligible for this offer. Tuition and fees for all students must be paid 1 month before the start of the term or immediately if starting within this timeframe.
OVERDUE PAYMENTS:
Annual due dates are specified on the invoice, which will be issued 30 days before the specified due date. Overdue payments will incur a monthly surcharge of 1.25%. The school reserves the right to withhold school documents and reports. In cases of continuous overdue payments or unresolved outstanding amounts, the school will initiate appropriate legal action.
REFUND POLICY & WITHDRAWAL NOTICE
All fees paid are non-refundable unless a term’s notice has been provided. Please contact admissions to request the withdrawal form which is essential for the processing of the withdrawal.
2024/25 ACADEMIC YEAR:
For upcoming academic year 2024 – 25, withdrawal notice must be given on or before the following dates:
Term 2: 11 November 2024
Term 3: 6 January 2025
2025/26 ACADEMIC YEAR:
If you intend to withdraw for the academic year 2025 / 26, a withdrawal notice must be provided on or before 21 April 2025.
Term 1: 21 April 2025
Term 2: 19 August 2025
Term 3: 6 January 2026
Upon providing one term’s withdrawal notice, refunds will be adjusted for any outstanding amount owed to the school and will be processed at the end of each term. Payments will be made to Thai bank accounts within 30 days after the last day of term. Please note that parents will be responsible for any processing fees for refunds to overseas bank accounts
