Survivor Camp 2025 – Eco Speak Edition: Learning, Leadership and the Language of Nature

At Finnway International School, we believe that learning should be lived not just taught. That’s why our teachers took the classroom outdoors for a two-day Eco Speak Survivor Camp 2025, held at Nai Yang Beach, Phuket.

The camp brought together enthusiastic students from Ammartpanichnukul School, Krabi, for a dynamic mix of English communication, environmental awareness, and teamwork. Over two unforgettable days, participants discovered that learning a language can go hand-in-hand with protecting the planet.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Education at Finnway goes far beyond textbooks. Our mission is to help students connect what they learn to the world around them to think, act, and communicate with purpose. The Eco Speak Survivor Camp was designed to do exactly that.

Throughout the camp, students joined “tribes” and embarked on a series of eco-themed challenges that tested their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Whether it was fishing out environmental “bottled messages” from the pool, investigating local hazards, or presenting new ideas to protect nature, each activity encouraged English communication through real-world action.

Teamwork, Resilience and Real-World Skills

Learning to communicate is one thing learning to communicate as a team is another. Every challenge at Survivor Camp was built around collaboration and critical thinking, helping students develop soft skills that will serve them far beyond the camp itself.

As tribes worked together to complete tasks, they discovered the power of listening, leading, and learning from one another. They built friendships, confidence, and an understanding that solving environmental issues requires teamwork just like unlocking the final code in the camp’s thrilling Grand Finale.

Speaking for the Planet

The Eco Speak Survivor Camp wasn’t just about competition; it was about connection with the environment, with others, and with the English language. Students learned that their voices matter and that language can be a powerful tool for positive change.

By the end of the camp, each participant had not only improved their English but also gained a deeper appreciation for sustainability and the role they can play in protecting the planet.

Finnway’s Commitment to Giving Back

This camp is part of Finnway’s wider mission to give back to the community and the environment. We aim to inspire young people across Thailand to learn through experience, foster meaningful connections, and take action for a sustainable future.

Through partnerships with schools like Ammartpanichnukul, Finnway continues to support educational initiatives that blend academic growth with global citizenship.

A Future Built on Action

The success of Eco Speak Survivor Camp 2025 shows what happens when education, creativity, and environmental consciousness come together. It’s proof that when students are given a purpose and a chance to lead they rise to the challenge.

At Finnway, we’ll continue to design experiences that help young minds find their voice, their confidence, and their responsibility to the world around them.

Because learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door sometimes, it begins on the beach.
