Grade 3-Grade 5 Annual Field Trip

A huge thank you again to the awesome team from Sustainable Mai Khao who ran a beach cleanup at Maikhao Beach with our grades 3,4 and 5, where we were not just picking up trash, but also shaping the future of our planet, one piece of litter at a time.

Why do we do beach clean-ups with the students? Well, let us tell you:

Leading by Example: Kids learn best when they see action in motion. By involving them in beach cleanups, we’re showing them firsthand the importance of taking care of our environment and being responsible global citizens.

Hands-On Learning: What better way to learn about environmental stewardship than getting your hands dirty (in a good way!)? Beach cleanups provide a tangible experience that sticks with kids long after the sand is rinsed off.

Building Empathy and Compassion: As our young volunteers comb the beach for litter, they’re not just picking up trash; they’re understanding the impact of pollution on marine life and ecosystems. It’s an empathy lesson that lasts a lifetime.

Fostering Community Spirit: Beach cleanups aren’t just about tidying up our shores; they’re about coming together as a community with a shared purpose. By involving kids, we’re building bonds and instilling a sense of collective responsibility.

Empowering the Next Generation: The future belongs to our children, and by empowering them to take action today, we’re nurturing a generation of changemakers who will continue to protect and preserve our planet for years to come.

Again, thank you to Sustainable Mai Khao for helping to inspire our kids. Together, we can create a brighter, cleaner future—one sandy footprint at a time.
