Finnway International School is delighted to offer an enriching array of academic classes as part of our After-School Programme. Finnway offer both 1-1 and small group English language lessons. Both of these options offer individualised learning from our experienced teachers who will work to learn your child’s interests to help engage them in furthering their English language skills.
For 1-1 lessons, parents can also discuss with the assigned teacher if they have specific areas, they would like their child to improve on.
For group lessons, children are mixed by ability and not by age. This helps ensure learning is appropriate for their development and encourages learning across
Russian Group Classes
Russian Group classes are for children who are already able to speak Russian. These classes aim to improve children’s Russian speaking, reading and writing skills.
Beginner Thai Group
Classes
The beginner Thai classes aim to introduce the Thai language to students through art and craft-based activities. Children learn different themes and vocabulary for everyday use.

Developing reading skills in primary students involves a range of objectives that gradually build upon each other to create a strong foundation in literacy. Our teachers use engaging activities to help children improve the following skills: Phonemic Awareness, Vocabulary Development, Comprehension Skills and Fluency.

Writing
The Grade 1 to Grade 5 English Creative Writing After School Club nurtures young writers, fostering storytelling skills and confidence. Through interactive activities and games, students explore imagination and learn writing techniques. Sessions adapt to students’ grade levels, progressing from basic storytelling to more complex narratives. The club emphasises creativity, peer feedback, and personalised mentorship, providing a supportive environment for students to develop their writing abilities and express their unique voices.
