A massive thank you to the amazing team at Sustainable Mai Khao for hosting today’s field trip for our Grade 1 & 2 students.

We started doing a workshop where the students engaged in a talk about “Saving our Oceans by Managing Rubbish Responsibly”, which really enhanced their understanding of the impact of rubbish on marine life.

Then we headed to Mai khao beach for a beach clean-up.

All the children actively participated in a beach clean-up session, and it was great to see them apply their learning from the workshop in a real-world context.

Then the children did all the Rubbish Sorting. The students sorted all the collected rubbish and made sure they put everything in the right place.

It was an amazing day of product-based learning, and doing something for the planet that we live in.
