This week, Finnway International School opened its doors to families across Phuket for a very special Open Day — and what an incredible morning it was! From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was filled with curiosity, connection, and the shared excitement of discovering something truly different in education.

Finnway International School had the honour of welcoming The Chief of the Phuket Provincial Education Area Office, Panna Phromwichian, for an official visit and inspection. This visit was part of a wider initiative to review the teaching management practices of private international schools across Phuket.

At Finnway International School, education doesn’t stop at academics. We believe in nurturing the whole child – and that includes supporting the health and well-being of our students and their families. That’s why we were proud to host the Bangkok Hospital Parent Session on Thursday, June 5th, focused on a particularly relevant topic: “Common Infectious Diseases in Children During the Rainy Season.”

The focus of this exciting excursion was ocean sustainability—a topic that our students have been exploring in depth this term. From classroom discussions about plastic pollution to creative projects on protecting marine life, this visit was a chance to connect theory with the real world.

From May 12th to 16th, Finnway International School was filled with colour, creativity, and compassion as we celebrated Mental Health Week: A Week of Feelings. This important initiative was designed to help students better understand, express, and embrace their emotions in a safe and supportive environment.

We recognize that the transition from Kindergarten (K3) to Primary (Grade 1) is a significant milestone in a child’s educational journey. It’s a time filled with excitement, curiosity, and, understandably, a touch of apprehension. Our commitment is to ensure that this progression is as smooth and supportive as possible for both students and their families.

At Finnway International School, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom—and this week’s football match against Headstart International School was a perfect example of that. Played in our state-of-the-art, fully air-conditioned Sports Hall, the match was a hard-fought battle of skill, teamwork, and determination that ended in a well-earned 1 – 1 draw.

At Finnway International School, we believe in celebrating culture not just through textbooks, but through vibrant, hands-on experiences—and Songkran 2025 was the perfect example! From heartfelt water blessings to wild and wonderful water fights, our campus was bursting with joy, tradition, and soaked uniforms (in the best way possible).
